The BBQ Team of the "Smoking Regâhs" consists of the 4 friends Daan, Stefan, Edward and Willem who all share the same hobby: BBQ! It all started on a Weber, but that soon grew into a complete arsenal of various smokers and other barbecues. This is where the foundations were laid for their current BBQ passion, which was soon expanded to include BBQ seasoning, RègâhRub.
After many evenings of delicious meat and drinks, they decided the time was right to start a team and compete. Since then, the Smoking Regâhs have become an integral part of the European competition scene. It is a team that is loved for the passion they exude, but also the conviviality of this team is famous and infamous all over Europe.
Due to several successes with their own rubs, including Dutch Champion Brisket, it was decided to market these own rubs as well. You too can now become a Champion in your own backyard. Success is guaranteed with these delicious BBQ seasonings.
This blend was developed primarily for beef and especially for Brisket, also one of our competition dishes. Since we too do not prepare Brisket every day, we started experimenting with what this unique Rub also tastes like. We soon found out that you can make delicious chicken wings with it, and the great thing is that you can call them Buffalo Wings right away. In addition, this Rub is also perfect as a substitute for salt and pepper on a steak or ribeye. If you have 50g left in your bag, mix that with a kilo of minced meat for some delicious Bad Buffalo Burgers. A very versatile Rub that belongs in everyone's cupboard.
This spice blend was developed for pork but also does perfectly with chicken. With years of competition experience of the Smoking Règâhs, everything is taken into account and perfect on Spareribs and Pulled Pork. The use of three types of sugar, cinnamon and multiple spices gives you not only a nice "bark" but also a nice kick afterwards, "Sweet with a feisty kick" as we like to say. Besides these traditional American BBQ dishes, this Rub is also delicious for meatballs in the kitchen.
